Thank you for visiting the IntelliGolf Update/Upgrade area for "current" IntelliGolf registered customers. We hope that you are enjoying many rounds of golf using the IntelliGolf software. To update/upgrade to the latest IntelliGolf version 9.x software, please click on the appropriate Section (I, II, or III) below. To find out your current IntelliGolf version number, either look on the handheld's start-up screen or click on the Help/About box in the IntelliGolf desktop software.

Back-up: It is always a good idea to back-up your IntelliGolf rounds, courses, and players database (.gdb) on your PC before installing any update/upgrade. You will find this file in the C:\Program Files\IntelliGolf directory. The file name is "golf.gdb" (unless you have renamed it). Simply make a copy of the golf.gdb (Edit/Copy then Edit/Paste) and you will see "Copy of golf.gdb" listed in the IntelliGolf directory. Then, please proceed with the appropriate upgrade/update listed below.

Section I. Current version 9.x customers.

If you are running the current (in-revision) version 9.x IntelliGolf Par, Birdie, Eagle, Eagle OTA, or Desktop edition software, please click here to download your latest version 9.x "update" for the "same product" and the "same platform". This is a FREE update for you :-).

• Note: If you are an existing IntelliGolf Eagle OTA (Value Model) version 9.x customer that wishes to upgrade to the full Eagle edition (Pro Model) software, please see the Eagle OTA Upgrade section in the IntelliGolf eStore by clicking here.

Note: This version 9.x "update" will not install for previous IntelliGolf version 8.x (or earlier) customers. Please see Section II or III (below) for "upgrade" information.

Section II. Previous version 8.x customers.

If you are running the (older) version 8.x IntelliGolf Par, Birdie, Eagle, Eagle OTA, or Desktop edition software, please click on the appropriate link below. That will SAVE YOU about 40% as compared to purchasing a new full version :-). Once you have upgraded into the version 9.x series of products, then all future version 9.x updates will be free to you for the same product/platform. In addition, you will also received continued in-revision free access to the IntelliGolf version 9.x golf course database! NOTE 1: All version 9.x updates "must be installed" on "the same PC" (or smartphone) that is currently running your existing IntelliGolf version 8.x software. If you have lost your original IntelliGolf software and/or are switching PCs, you will need to get new original of the IntelliGolf software as it came with a unique registration code. However, the "good news" is that one of our resellers has created a Replacement Program that will SAVE YOU you about 40%. Simply click here to be redirected to the Replacement Program web page. Note 2: Customers running Windows Mobile 2002 (very old) should not upgrade to IntelliGolf version 9.x. Windows Mobile 2002 is no longer supported in version 9.x.

C. Par edition version 8.x customers

We no longer offer a Par-to-Par edition upgrade based upon its lack of popularity. However, if you would like to upgrade from the Par edition to the our latest Birdie or Eagle edition version 9.x software, please click here and use the Replacement Copy Program for your upgrade. It will SAVE YOU about 40% OFF the list price of buying the full Birdie or Eagle edition version 9.x software.

D. Upgrade to the IntelliGolf "Desktop edition" version 9.x software (below)

Section III. Previous version 5.x-7.x customers.

If you are running the (much older) version 5.x-7.x IntelliGolf software, and did not keep current with the version 8.x/9.x upgrades, you will need to get a new full version of the IntelliGolf software. Due to many handheld/smartphone system changes by the manufacturers over the past few years (e.g. Palm, Microsoft, RIM, etc), the version 9.x upgrade is not able to update very old versions of the IntelliGolf software and will not install properly. However, the "good news" is that one of our resellers has created a Replacement Copy Program that will SAVE YOU about 40%. While the Replacement Copy Program is traditionally used by customers that have "lost" their original of the IntelliGolf software (i.e. no back-up, hard drive crash, new computer, etc), this Program will work for you too.
