Thank you for visiting the IntelliGolf version 9.x in-revision FREE UPDATE web page. To download your FREE UPDATE for the same product (e.g. Eagle to Eagle), for the same platform (e.g. Blackberry to Blackberry) and on the same PC/smartphone and on the "same PC and operating system", please click on your existing version 9.x product below. You will be taken to a 2nd screen to begin your update. If you are changing products (e.g. Birdie to Eagle), and/or are changing platforms (e.g. Blackberry to Nokia), and/or are changing PCs or operating systems, please see Notes 1 & 2 below.
IMPORTANT: All version 9.x updates "must be installed" on "the same PC and operating system" (or smartphone) that is currently running your existing "full version" of the IntelliGolf version 9.x software. If you get the error message "Sorry an appropriate Intelligolf product must be installed on this computer to install this upgrade" then you are probably trying to install the version 9.x "upgrade" onto a PC that does not have a full live original of the version 9.x software installed on it. As such, the upgrade will not install. To get the version 9.x upgrade to install, you must a live original of the IntelliGolf version 9.x software installed onto your PC. If you have lost your original IntelliGolf version 9.x software and/or are switching PCs, you will need to get new original of the IntelliGolf software as it came with a unique registration code. However, the "good news" is that one of our resellers has created a Replacement Program that will SAVE YOU you about 40% as compared to purchasing a new full original again (i.e. your other option). If you receive an installation error message stating that "an existing 9.x version of IntelliGolf cannot be found on your system" (or a similar message) that is probably because you are 1) trying to download the free version 9.x update for a different product (e.g. Birdie to Eagle), or for a different platform (Blackberry to Nokia), or for upgrading an older version (e.g. 5.x-8x) of the IntelliGolf software. Free updates are for the "same product, on the same platform, and for same PC/smartphone" for version 9.x customers only. As such, you will need to use the Replacement Copy Program described in the blue text above. You'll be up and running again in minutes!
Section I. Eagle edition version 9.x customers (Birdie edition + Eagle GPS Option)
(For Windows Mobile-based Pocket PCs and Smartphones, Palm OS-based handhelds, BlackBerry smartphones, Nokia Series 60-based smartphones, and Sony Ericsson P900/910 smartphones).
Installation instructions: Click on the Eagle Upgrade link below to start the download process. Save the downloaded "igeaglefupxxx.zip" file to your Windows-based PC. Unzip the downloaded file. First, install the "igbirdiefupxxx.msi" file by doubling clicking on it. This will install the IntelliGolf desktop software, handheld/smartphone software, and synchronization software. Next, double-click on the "igeagleofupxxx.msi" file. This will install the Eagle GPS Option's "GPS and Bluetooth" components to your handheld/smartphone. You'll be ready to golf again in minutes!
Section II. Birdie edition version 9.x customers (Birdie edition)
(For Windows Mobile-based Pocket PCs and Smartphones, Palm OS-based handhelds, BlackBerry smartphones, Nokia Series 60-based smartphones, and Sony Ericsson P900/910 smartphones).

Section III. Par edition version 9.x customers (Par edition)
We no longer offer a Par-to-Par edition update based upon its lack of popularity. However, if you would like to upgrade from the Par edition to the our latest Birdie or Eagle edition version 9.x software, please click here and use the Replacement Copy Program for your upgrade. It will SAVE YOU about 40% OFF the list price of buying the full Birdie or Eagle edition version 9.x software.
Section IV. Desktop edition version 9.x customers (Desktop edition)
(For Windows Vista, XP, Me, and 98 customers)
Installation instructions: Click on the Desktop edition Update link below to start the download process. Save the downloaded "igdesktopfupxxx.msi" file to your Windows-based PC. Install the downloaded file by doubling clicking on it. This will install the IntelliGolf desktop software onto your Windows-based PC. You'll be ready to golf again in minutes!
NOTE: IntelliGolf Birdie and Eagle edition customers do not need to separately download the IntelliGolf Desktop edition (Windows) component of IntelliGolf. The Birdie and Eagle edition downloads contain both the handheld and desktop software all-in-one. The Desktop edition upgrade is only for customers that do not own a handheld device and are running the Windows-only version of IntelliGolf. The Par edition does not come with, or is compatible with the IntelliGolf Windows desktop software.
Section V. Eagle OTA Edition version 9.x customers (wireless handset software only)
NOTE: The full Eagle edition (w/ desktop and sync software) is now shipping for virtually all platforms (e.g. Blackberry, Nokia, Windows Mobile, and Palm). As a current Eagle OTA customer, you can SAVE 40% on your upgrade to the full Eagle edition software today. Please see the Eagle OTA Upgrade section in the IntelliGolf eStore by clicking here.
Prior to installing an OTA upgrade (below), some smartphones require that you "remove" your existing version of IntelliGolf from your smartphone using your smartphone's application uninstall routine. We always suggest that you try installing the new IntelliGolf upgrade first (i.e. before removing anything) and then follow any device-specific instructions that may be provided to you on your smartphone. Please refer to your smartphone manual on how to remove applications from your smartphone. During the removal process, some smartphones will ask you if you want to "save" your existing data (i.e. rounds, courses, and players). Answer "yes". Unfortunately, other smartphones will not save your existing data when an application is removed. As such, it may be necessary for you to re-download and/or re-enter your favorite courses, players, and rounds depending upon your smartphone.
IMPORTANT: If you are running the IntelliGolf Version 8.x (or earlier) software DO NOT attempt to install this free version 9.x upgrade. It will not install properly and may damage your original IntelliGolf software including your course, rounds, and player database which cannot be repaired or replaced.
